My involvement with Epilogue Gaming began in the Fall of 2018. I had just finished my first playthrough of SOMA and was about to end my stream when two of my friends, Nina Salenius and Artemis Liu, suggested that I should raid one of their friends. This was my first encounter with Blake Guthrie and my first steps into a phenomenal community. The next few months were spent meeting a wide array of amazing people in the community and being accepted into their family. Eventually I got more involved with Epilogue Gaming and wrote my first article for the site in March 2019.
Currently I am one of the writers for Epilogue Gaming. I’ve written a few reviews and articles for our site. I have also helped with some video editing as well as organizing the Epilogue Gaming Speedrunning Event. Going into 2020 and beyond, I want to help craft Epilogue Gaming into being the best place for insightful, unique and meaningful content. Contributing to not only short-form content, but long-form as well. Through our writing, videos, and podcasts, the future is looking bright for Epilogue Gaming.
There is plenty that I can be proud of during my first year working for Epilogue Gaming. My comfort zone was left behind and I began writing for our site. I was actively involved in our Epilogue Gaming 48 Hour Events, where we collected over $2000 for the Able Gamers charity. However, my proudest moment so far was organizing and scheduling the Epilogue Gaming Speedrunning Event. It was an absolute blast getting to see many of the talented people in our community speedrunning through their favorite games. I also proved to myself that I have the determination and confidence to organize events. Something that I hope to continue doing in the future.
The easiest way to reach me is on the official Epilogue Gaming discord server. I am always available to talk with anyone in the community. You can also find me at Twitch.tv/Draknios where I try to stream 2-5 times a week.I consider myself a variety streamer since I often move from genre to genre. My stream schedule changes based on my class schedule since I’m currently in college.
Thank you for visiting Epilogue Gaming. I look forward to hearing from you!
