Must Haves
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice ($38.99 / 35% off): Recently crowned as Game of the Year at the 2019 Game Awards, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the latest action-packed adventure from the creators of Bloodborne and the Dark Souls series. Pick up this beautiful game and experience the best fighting in the gaming industry.
Devil May Cry 5 ($19.79 / 67% off): Demon hunting is a complicated profession, but that won’t stop Nero, Dante, and V from crushing every demonic creature in their path. Featuring three playable characters with radically different styles of combat, Devil May Cry 5 is a breath of fresh air. So forget about the failed reboot in 2013 and rejoice in the best demon-slaying action in the series.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice ($9.99 / 67% off ): Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a breathtaking story that deals with grief, loss, and the ability to not be defined by your condition. Strategic combat, mesmerizing puzzles, and the incredible use of 3D binaural sound crafts a story that you will never forget. With a sequel announced at the 2019 Game Awards, this game is an absolute must for your next Steam shopping trip.
Dragon Ball FighterZ ($14.99 / 75% off): The seven dragon balls have been collected and the Eternal Dragon, Shenron, has blessed us with a righteous sale! Dragon Ball FighterZ takes everything that fans of the Dragon Ball series love and crafts a spectacular all-out brawl. Channel your inner Super Saiyan and pick up this deal while you can!
Games You Haven’t Heard Of
Disco Elysium ($31.99 / 20% off): Claiming four trophies at the 2019 Game Awards, Disco Elysium is a police procedural RPG with a heavy emphasis on dialogue-based gameplay mechanics. The game begins with your character waking up on floor of a hotel room. Your mind is broken and a gruesome murder needs to be solved. Character stats, skill checks, companions, and quests deliver one of the best roleplaying games to come out in 2019. It would be a crime to not pick this game up.
Baba Is You ($11.99 / 20% off): Baba Is You is a puzzle game about breaking the rules and expectations of the genre. The game starts off with rather easy puzzles, but quickly becomes challenging due to its puzzle design, requiring the player to use unconventional methods to solve them. Baba demands that you check it out!
My Friend Pedro ($13.99 / 30% off): Did you hear about that banana that was taped to a wall and sold for $120,000 earlier this year? What if that banana was sentient and told you to obliterate everyone in your path? My Friend Pedro is a parkour-shooter with a strange premise that channels John Wick levels of carnage. Do as the banana says and pick up this game!
Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code ($4.99 / 80% off): Just from the name alone, it’s hard to tell what exactly this game about. Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code is an interesting 2D fighting game that features a decent sized cast and three styles of fighting per character. If you’re looking for an underrated fighting game to add to your library, this deal is superb.
There If You’re Still Interested
Stardew Valley ($8.99 / 40% off): Have you ever had one of those days where you just want to sit back and play a relaxing game? If so, Stardew Valley is wonderfully suited for every chill afternoon on the couch or in bed. Simple graphics and addictive gameplay will have you coming back for more with every new update. Especially with it’s latest 1.4 content update. So grab your blanket and relax with this lovely deal.
The King Of Fighters XIII ($4.99 / 75% off): Despite not being the newest edition in the series, The King Of Fighters XIII still provides an impressive 2D fighting game with a tremendous cast of characters to play. If you’ve been wanting to experience the franchise, this deal is the perfect entry.
Bioshock Collection ($14.99 / 75% off): Unique settings, rich characters, and fun combat are what make Bioshock such a phenomenal series. If by some chance you haven’t stepped into the cities of Rapture and Columbia yet, this is the best time to with such a fantastic deal.
Grand Theft Auto 5 ($14.99 / 50% off): Grand Theft Auto 5 is without a doubt, the best Grand Theft Auto game ever made. Easily knocking previous installments , like Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, into second place. The game takes us back to a fan-favorite location, Los Santos, and introduces us to three interchangeable characters throughout the story. Pair this with the Grand Theft Auto Online’s wacky content and continuous updates and this sale is absolutely worth it.
Easy Passes
DayZ ($26.99 / 40% off): Name a better duo than early access and DayZ. Filled to the brim with game breaking bugs, performance issues, and paid DLC content that should honestly be free, DayZ has learned nothing from its eternity in early access. Avoid this game like the corpse it is and invest in something better (like Arma 2 and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead with the original DayZ mod for a combined $6.58).
Call of Duty: Black Ops III – Zombies Chronicles Edition ($29.99 / 50% off): Call of Duty: Black Ops III is a first-person shooter that is on the brink of death. With an average peak player count of around 2,300, there is absolutely no reason to buy this game unless you want a subpar Zombie game mode. If you’re looking for the best campaign and multiplayer experience, you can instead find Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on sale at 33% off.
Mortal Kombat 11 ($23.99 / 60% off): Even with a significant discount, Mortal Kombat 11 still can’t escape a gruesome fatality of significant performance issues. There are much better fighting games on this list and on sale that will deliver the proper finisher that you deserve.
Don’t Be Fooled
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order ($49.79 / 17% off): Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a long awaited return to the singleplayer experience that fans have been craving for years. Beautiful planets, challenging lightsaber combat, and a phenomenal crew of characters help shape the best Star Wars game in a very long time. However, this is not the deal you are looking for. The Epic Game Store is also advertising Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at the same price, but Epic is also providing an extra $10 off coupon with every purchase for a better deal of $39.79.
Tom Clany’s Rainbow Six Siege ($7.99 / 60% off): Don’t let it’s 2015 release date fool you. Tom Clany’s Rainbow Six Siege overcame an average launch with monumental gameplay changes and is now a rising star in the competitive first-person shooters in the eSports scene. This deal may seem enticing, but this discount for the standard edition of the game only provides the base game and forces the player to spend unnecessarily long hours grinding in-game currency to unlock the operators. I highly recommend checking this game out, but you’ll save yourself a lot of time and be happier in the long run if you invest in the Gold Edition ($23.98 / 60% off) or the Ultimate Edition ($39.98 / 60% off).
